Attendees included Ontario Farmer, University of Guelph Scientist, Yoso Foods, Food Laureate and others!

Great attendance for an educational and informative packed day.
Many aspiring, new and current Hazelnut growers came out to listen to professional talks about Pesticides and Diseases, Tissue Culture Propagation, Bareroot and Farming Practices, Proper Tree Planting demonstrations and Tree Nutrition. It was a must attend event for growers interested in having the best orchard possible!
Attendees included Ontario Farmer, OMAFRA, OHA, Niagara College and more!

FIRST ONTARIO CREDIT UNION AWARDS
Earthgen and our Hazelnuts had an amazing time presenting at the Niagara First Ontario 1Awards last month!
It was such a great opportunity and we were honoured to be selected as a finalist.
We look forward to the many other awards we are up for this year!
NIAGARA WOODLOT ASSOCIATION ENJOYING THE
1ST ANNUAL FIELD DAY AT EARTHGEN TREE NURSERY WITH TOURS OF THE ARBORETUM AND
NATIVE TREE WALK ALONG THE WELLAND RIVER
Points of interest were the Arboretum, Hazelnut Plantation, Natural Stands of Bitternut Hickory, Shagbark Hickory, Ash, Sugar Maple, Basswood,
Bur Oak, Black Walnut, Elderberry all within the Flood Plain planting
and natural regeneration.
Among the attendees were members of the
NIAGARA WOODLOT ASSOCIATION, ONTARIO WOODLOT ASSOCIATION, DUNNVILLE HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY,
ONTARIO GREEN, AND DUNNVILLE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
Niagara College showed off it’s environmentally-friendly nature Sept. 15 when the student-led Niagara Environmental Corps, hosted the college’s fourth annual Green Day at Niagara College.
The event at the Glendale campus courtyard featured displays by local environmental, conservation and nature groups of which Earthgen attended.
